It was a snow day and everyone was having fun!
Josefina and Nicki were skating.
Adria and Addy were nervously getting ready to slide down the big hill.
Traveling Josefina and Felicity were *trying* to build a snowman.
Hmm, must be the powdery sort of stuff.
Kaya was standing off by a tree, bundled up in furs.
Kathleen and Violet were having a serious conversation. "Oh Vi, just let me go down the hill once and then I'll be satisfied." Kathleen begged. "Oh, alright." Violet said, shivering. Even her thick fur cape didn't keep her warm.
"Yay!" Kathleen quickly scurried up the hill. But in doing that...
She jarred Addy from her perch and sent her sliding downt he hill!
"Ouch!" She cried, landing smack on her backside.
"Addy, Addy, are you alright?" Nicki gasped.
*moan*
"yes, I'm fine." Addy finally said, sitting up.
After assuring herself that Addy was alright, Nicki got up to do some fancy skating on the frozen pond. First, she did some easy spins.
Then she carefully balanced herself as she did a slant-skate (OK, I don't know any Ice skating terms, but it's when a skater slants very deeply to the right when skating).
Then did a simple twirl in the air and came down perfectly.
And she stepped off the ice and bowed to the applauders.
"Hey, I wanna try that!" Adria said, and she slid down the hill.
She stepped onto the ice. After some warmups, she did a spin.
Then, she did a double axel!
And landed perfectly, going right into her slant-skate.
She whooshed by so fast, I could barely get a picture!
Then she did a big split jump up into the air...
...landed perfectly and...
...bowed to her audience. ****THE END*****
