Straight off the tube there is this area named "The Camden Market". I wandered through it and it was a huge area with nothing but themed t-shirts. I was underimpressed until I found the real Camden Locks Market.
Main street in the morning.
Goth boots, come and get em!!!!
This is on of the Camden locks. The water was surprisingly not nasty.
This is about 1/1000 of the overall market. This was more of the hippie side of things. There were themed areas.
A nice little over bridge.
This area was themed with tons of bronze scary looking horses. I already had a little fear of horses, now it is a phobia.
Example of scary horse.
The ceiling in the horse are was pretty cool.
It looks like this horse is half buried and pissed off.
Here is a store in the middle of the markets called "Cyberdog". It was a raver store. Anything you need to get all hotted up for an evening of E and dancing. Seems like it would be fun to be a teenager in London.
Here is the market by mid-day. It really packed up.
This store sold nothing but umbrellas and canes. Some of the umbrellas were up in the hundreds of pounds.
By the time I got to the British Museum I was wiped out so I only spent about an hour there. I will have more time at the end of the week.
