The pathh' . The gate closing in the evening is a melodramatic event , pronounced by the slogan shouting and flag waving by the public , and foot stomping by the guards.

The atmosphere is electric and the patriotism exhibited by people on both borders is incisive.
We head out for Dinner in amritsar and this is what we get . Fog . With almost zero traffic At 7PM , the entire city has a surreal , almost unrealistic aura to it . The feeling of a rustic old world charm with fogfy high rise city lights and the occasional cycle-rickshaw and pedestrians transport you to a yester-year era.
