Birthday Weekend
El Fin de Semana de Cumpleaños / Birthday Weekend:
Three Cakes, Two Parties, and a Mountain! My twentieth birthday was Saturday, February 24, 2007, but I began the celebration on Friday. Friday, we held a small rooftop celebration with mostly international students. However, on Saturday, we climbed what is probably this region's highest mountain peak, the Cerro de la Silla - Pico Norte (Hill of the Saddle - North Peak). We spent nearly 12 hours with this adventure, and just hours later I celebrated with the Mexicans at my church.
