Judy, Cindy, Paula, Marilyn, Shirley, Carol & BJ, seeing eye dog. Shirley, our first bass, retired and moved to Buena Vista, CO. We went to visit her and while we were there we sang for a church service, an assisted living fascility and did a show for Habitat for Humanity to raise some money for them.
We went in middle of September and the Aspen trees were gorgeous.
The weather was beautiful, cool in the AM and evenings but by noon it was t-shirt weather.
Our sightseeing led us to St. Elmo's Ghost Village. We decided to visit the jail.
Jolly 5 (6th taking the picture) sightseeing. This was our second trip out there. The first one was a week after 9/11/01 tragedy. We hesitated about going but decided that security would be very high so we opted to go.
While at the Dallas Airport, during a layover, they found out we were a quartet and asked us to sing a couple of patriotic songs over the sound system & we found out later they even piped it into the plane that we were going to fly on. This really gave us a "HIGH."
We sang at a Tribute to Lawrence Welk Fund Raiser. Bobby Burgess, who was a regular on his show was there and we all danced with him.

Belleview Biltmore had a three day "grand opening" when they opened Maisie's, their Ice Cream Parlor.
We sang all three days, not only at Maisie's, but in the restaurant and for an International Group Luncheon.
We went on a twelve day trip to Germany with The Tropical Harmony Sweet Adeline Chorus, made up from several of our choruses. We toured the southern half of Germany and had shows in several of the places. This picture was taken at one of the shows.

We had just disembarked from a River Cruise. The gardens were so beautiful and very well maintained.
We had just sung in the Speyer Cathedral, which was a very moving experience. The whole chorus was dressed in all black and white.

Belleview Biltmore......We sang every Tuesday and Thursday during the month of December 2005 in the cocktail / restaurant from 5:00 to 7:00.
This tree was in the lobby, it was hugh and so beautiful.
They had about a dozen trees throughout the halls, each one had a different theme.
This was their bakery and the pastries made your mouth water just looking at them. They made the gingerbread house in the next picture.
This is where we sang in front of Gingerbread House. It was made in the bakery and it smelled so good.

We decided to visit our home bound members of Gulf to Bay and sing a song or two. I don't know who had more fun, them or us!!

Health Fair at Tropicana Field. We greeted Michael Leavitt, Secretary of Health and Human Services, from Washington, D.C. as he arrived at the Health Fair. He was there to talk about Medicare Part D and explain how it works.
Secretary Leavitt flew in from Washington. D. C. for the Health Fair to kick off the enrollment period for seniors to enroll in Medicare Part D.
At the end of his press conference he asked us to sing another song. We sang "Feeling Groovy and he joined in.
Pat Boone did a show at the Health Fair at Tropicana Field. We were supposed to welcome him with a song when he arrived. He ended up singing with us.
We sang three nights at Heritage Park at Halloween for their Haunted Village sponsered by the Rotary.
