View from the Sheraton - Air Force Memorial
Jim Robinson (seated), founder of Free Republic, and a good, good friend. Dave (old friend from Florida) and "Basil" (Texas). I spent alot of time screaming and yelling with these people.
Breakfast and Inspiration on Saturday morning
This building might as well be boarded up.
President Reagan would be proud of us today.
This is John from Illinois. We were separated at birth.
Lining up on Saturday morning. We had absolutely no idea how many people showed up for this... but wait.
Lots of people in a small space. You couldn't find a more friendly, courteous crowd.
John hoists the Christian Flag.
Not one union-made, pre-printed sign in the whole bunch. Astroturf??? NO Way!!!! This is a very large group of highly motivated, freedom-loving INDIVIDUALS.
It's a COOK BOOK!!!
On the move toward the Capitol. There were hundreds of thousands of individuals waiting for us there.
The Capitol in sight...
We will continue to march as long as these words say we can.
I don't know how far it was from here to the Capitol steps, but it was wall-to-wall people. The crowd was humungous, gigantic, active, engaged, and genuinely happy to see so many of their like-minded brothers and sisters together in the same place.
Behind where I was standing.
U.S. Grant
Maybe, just maybe, the mainstream media took notice. (But I doubt it...)
