ISLAND (16.-29.6.2010)
Two GREAT weeks of exploring, marvelling, and admiring Islandic natural beauties; hiking, walking, climbing, jumping, sliding, fording, stumbling+++; travelling and driving (planes/buses/car); all possible weather; light nights; camping and befriending own (heavy) backpacks; mastering to build up/pack the tent as fast as possible and ecconomically pack the backpacks; living with out-door clothes and equipment; eating pasta, prefabricated/canned food and loads of chocolate; exhaustion, tiredness, soar muscles, but absolute happiness; enjoying richness of the Czech language and Czech humour; but most of all, two awsome weeks of constant action, fun, and company of cool Czech friends !! :))) Could not be a better holiday! Many thanks to all who supported me in going into this adventure, helped me with getting proper equipment, and cared for me. V.
