2010 Pig Roast

A great team of people worked to make this a fantastic event, inspired by one of our directors Mike Thomas. A good atmosphere was created by all involved in the preparation, plus the food was exellent Nicely decorated too. There were games on the nicely looked after lawn at the side of the club building. People resting after keeping watch over the pig since the early hours. There was a nice crowd of diners, old and new faces. And fun dancing to familiar tunes. Out on the balcony a nice view over the docks. A beautiful evening. Hanny

Stormy Weather

Video by Hanny "Stormy Weather" Sunday afternoon at around 4:00 - 5:00 PM June 13 (how appropriate) 2010 What started as perhaps a 20 kilometer per hour wind increased to, we estimated, almost double that. Luckily there were still enough people in the harbour to help those who came in during the storm. It will give people an idea perhaps what it can be like at Okanagan Lake. Boating from the top down

Steve and Son Geoff Cranton and family are in the process of restoring this huge two mast sailboat. Geoff discovers how high up the main mast actually is.
