Outside of my new house--taken the day I gained ownership! The rest of the pictures were taken months later.
When you first walk in the front door you're behind the couch in the living room.
Straight ahead is the hallway, and to your right is a coat closet.
next to the coat closet on the right are some AWESOME pictures. Yep, that's me with my boys--nephews Gavin and Carter.
From a different corner of the living room. Front door is now on your left, hallway is on your right and your back is to the dining room/kitchen.
The dining / kitcen is this giant rectangular room, of which the kitchen is shoved into a tiny corner that takes up less than 1/4 of the room. Someday when I have money (ha!) I'd like to expand the kitchen to the whole back half of that room.
Looking past the table at the kitchen "corner." Speaking of money, though, if you want to help me earn a little, consider buying my home-made greeting cards from www.ksphotodesigns.com.
The kitchen. Yep, that's all of it!
Umm...another angle of the dining room I guess, before we head down the hallway.
At the end of the hallway, to the right is my bathroom. That's about all of it.
Be sure to notice the lovely and amazing medicine cabinet. I bought it off of craigslist and Eric and I had all sorts of trouble installing it, but finally succeeded! The knobs were a cheap-looking brassy-gold color, so I spent a couple bucks and replaced them with brushed-nickel finish knobs. It makes everything look better and matches my new toilet handle, tp holder, and towel ring. Now I just need a new faucet!....someday....which reminds me. This is the drill bit set I bought to help me finish installing the cabinet. It rolls up like a real contractor's. Working with this thing makes me feel so cool.
Straight at the end of the hall (in a line from the front door to the back of the house) is Gram's room. This is from the doorway looking back.
Then steppin inside and looking toward her closet. There's also a bathroom to the right of the closet (unpictured--she was in there brushing her teeth).
The room next door is mine. Much smaller. Just enough space for my dresser, hamper, bed and nightstands.
But it works fine for me! I'm feeling right at home in my new home! There is also a spare bedroom which was too messy to photograph. You'll have to come over to see it. :-)
