North Sea Cruise
From June, 6th to June 18th in 2006 I had the chance to do a Uni provided curse on the research vessel "Alkor". We did fisheries, which was surprisingly unsuccessful, we did plankton, using different types of nets and a VPR (Video Plankton Recorder), took water samples for water chemistry and abiotics and we had fun playing with the new ROV (Remote Operating Vehicle) of the Institute. I love cruises on research vessels, especially when the other people on the ship are so great as on this cruise!
