An absolutely fantastic night with an enormous array of music talent crossing almost all music genres. Thanks to all those who sang, played, listened, watched and generally joined in the events. We raise £100 for the Wigan and Leigh Hospice - thanks to everyone

Lammas Camp 2008 and Gwen & Wayne's Handfasting

A fantasic weekend with over 70 people at this stunning camp site. The weather was kinder to us than expected with glorious sun on the Friday and Saturday with rain only in the evening and at night. The handfasting was brilliant with a fantastic opening procession of girls into the north and lads from the south - both sets chanting with a final fabulous 'chant-off' as they all met at the stone circle!

Beltane 2008 with Nic & Caitlin's Handfasting

Beltane 2008 absolutely fantastic - with over fifty people coming together to celebrate Beltane and Caitlin & Nic's Handfasting. The room upstairs (The Coven 'Temple') was decorated fabulously by Donna & Ian - complete with our own full-height may-pole running up the centre of the the room - looking like it was carrying on through to the sky - you had to see it to believe it!! We'll have full pictures on line soon - will post here with the url when its all sorted. The Beltane rite was a brilliant mini-play - about how Brigit and Bel, together, quelled the chaos before the worlds could be formed. This play was a perfect for a pre-handfasting event as Caitlin and Nic took on the roles beautifully in this allegory of how a relationship, well formed can conquer all! Due to numbers we held two rite over the evening - this also meant two sessions dancing around our maypole. The first group did wonderfully - not only forming a fantastic pattern around the pole but, more amazingly,

Moot 18th Jan 2008

Twas a fantastic moot last night - nearly 50 good folks from around the region meeting, chatting, meeting old friends and making new ones. Rooks talk on the Rooks, Crows, their allies and place in history, mythology & spirituality was excellent - thanks Rook and also thanks to Aunty Al for providing the visuals! Second Music Night

Wow - what a night! There was such a fantastic array of music, singing & all-out fun at this event. With professional/semi-pro musician & singers alongside rank amateurs the range of music styles was unbelievable. Folk, pop, show tunes, TV themes - you name the style - it was sung or played! By the end of the evening (1-30am ish) it seemed that everyone had a song in them!

'Least Haunted' Spoof 'Fancy Dress' Night Nov 3rd 2007

Wow, these pictures are more scary than anything that could come from Holywood! Our least haunted spoof night was absolutely b****y fantastic. You can guess the format...we had our resident polish clare voyant, clareaudient, clare vacant(!) Madamme Hilary Hungover running the evening. All sorts of fun & scares had by all - its amazing just how haunted The Coven really is - lights turning on and off, ghostly sewing machines, bubbling brews, scary sounds - not to mention all the scary people who attended the evening!
