Favourite Telefocus images from Dr. Tilly Blyth Curator of Computing & Information, Science Museum

Dr Tilly Blyth is Curator of Computing & Information at the Science Museum. As well as caring for the national computing collection and writing about the history of British computing, Tilly was Executive Editor of the museum’s award-winning Making the Modern World website that looks at the museum’s iconic artefacts, developing stories of technological invention from the eighteenth century to the present day. Tilly's doctoral research looked at the social construction of the Internet in the home & the production of on-line services at British Telecom’s research labs in Martlesham, Suffolk. Previously Tilly worked as Executive Producer of Fathom, the on-line learning consortium between Columbia University, LSE, British Library, British Museum, NHM, V&A and Cambridge University Press. She was also Broadband Development Manager for one of the UK's leading digital educational content developers, Illumina Digital. Tilly is on the judging panel for the BAFTA Interactive Entertainment awards.

Favourite Telefocus images from Jack Lohman, Director of the Museum of London

Jack Lohman or Jacek Lohman was appointed Director of the Museum of London in August 2002. Born in London, England, of Polish parents, Lohman was educated at the University of East Anglia where he graduated with a degree in History of Art in 1979. Before taking up his present appointment, Jack Lohman was the Chief Executive Officer of Iziko Museums of Cape Town, South Africa, an organization consisting of fifteen national museums including the South African Museum, the South African Maritime Museum and the South African National Gallery. Here he led the creation of a new museum institution and the transformation of the national museum sector. Jack Lohman is also Professor of Museum Design and Communication at the Bergen National Academy of the Arts in Norway. He is Chairman of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) UK, a member of the UK National Commission for UNESCO Culture Committee and a Trustee of the National Museum in Warsaw.

Favourite Telefocus images from Professor Teal Triggs, University of the Arts London

Teal Triggs is Professor of Graphic Design, University of the Arts London. She is co-Director of the research unit for Information Environments (i.e.) and Course Director for MRes Information Environments and MA Design Writing Criticism, London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. As a graphic design historian, critic, and educator she has lectured internationally and her writings have appeared in numerous international design publications. Triggs’ design research focuses on methods and social engagement where she has worked on community-based learning projects including ‘A Sense of Place: Life Histories of Residents on the Aylesbury Estate’ funded by the UK Department of Business, Innovation and Skills. Triggs is founder of the New Views design conference series and co-curator of an international poster exhibition that opened at the Melbourne Museum, Australia last year and is now travelling. Triggs is a Fellow of the International Society of Typographic Designers.
