"Phht, I think of the 10ish bands that played at least 4 bothered the SR (non-monitor world) sub stacks in one way or another. Leading culprits were guitar techs. Dimmer racks and day workers got honorable mentions. "yeah, we meant to line them up, we're just damn idiots and this is as close as we could get." BT, where'd your comment go? "It's adapted endfire. I kept the back block as 0-time, and used both splay and delay to widen the coverage. The primary goals were to reduce rear output (backstage is a giant glass and concrete parabola) and stay out of the way. Seconadary goals were to even outer coverage, not piss of the monitor guy or the musos. After that minimizing power alley, overall output, and whatever is left over after that."

"No, but they do look like it. They're Jbl Vpsb7118dp. It's a powered single 18". They're all right, but half of them have a cobranet card and half the standard drivepack, so that's something that can bite you if you don't pay attention. In general I find a couple powered speakers in an otherwise unpowered rig to be a nuisance. I'd rather run one cable to a speaker instead or two."
