International Helicopter Museum (IHM)
An excellent museum and well worth a visit. What really marks it out are the many interesting exhibits all under the same roof. Mass produced helicopters to one off prototypes by individuals. The earliest beginnings such as the Cierva C.30 to the latest EH.101, the tiny Westland Mote to the Mighty Super Frelon, from the coaxial to the conventional, autogyros and Remotely Piloted Helicopters included.
Eastern European designs are very well represented and Westland have donated a number of prototypes from the successful Lynx to research projects like the WG-25 series.
It is very fitting that one of only two complete Bristol Belvedere airframes is here seeing as it was built across the airfield.
If you like helicopters then this is a must see along with Buckeburg but I am working on that one still.
