White Water Rafting 2011

The rainy forecast did not stop Troop 200 from having a blast white water rafting on June 11, 2011. While braving Class 2 rapids in the Lehigh River Gorge, scouts, scouters, and family members took in breathtaking scenery, and floated beneath birds of prey as eagles and osprey soared above. They also had a great deal of fun splashing each other and dodging boulders.

Fleet Week 2011

Thanks to Commander Jack Schaible, Troop 200 Scouts, families and friends had a grand time touring the USS Iwo Jima and Coast Guard Cutter Willow, both active ships, during Fleet Week 2011. All had a fantastic time touring the ships and riding a flight simulator! Eagle Scouts now in the Coast Guard, Navy and Marines helped make the day super special by giving our party extra attention. The best part was seeing all those sailors and marines salute Commander Schaible, one of our own Troop 200 Scouters.

Back-to-Basics 2011

Our Back-to-Basics trip is where younger Scouts are introduced to Boy Scout camping, the Patrol Method and the concept of the boy-led troop. They are instructed by the older Scouts, plan and cook their own meals, set up and sleep in their own tents and find that they're much more self-reliant than they ever imagined.

Soaring Eagles Worthington State Forest Trip 2010

The Soaring Eagles had a great Patrol camping trip to Worthington State Forest. They hiked to Sunfish Pond, fished, played ball, made and ate great meals and had an all-around blast.

Iron Chef/Red Mill Campout

The Scouts did an amazing job at this campout, both on their Scout skills in the morning and on their fantastic culinary masterpieces in the afternoon. The Vikings won the day, but they all reigned supreme!

Klondike 2009

We had a fantastic time at Round Valley Youth Center for the 2009 Klondike Derby. Sure, the nights got into the single digits, but the afternoons were in the balmy 30s and the events were great!
