2011 Women's Outdoor Recreation Retreat
The Women's Outdoor Recreation Retreat was held on October 14-16, 2011 at Hickory Knob State Resort Park. We had nearly 200 in attendance and the weather was perfect! A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our volunteer staff & instructors, especially Dan Turpin who was instrumental in the creation of this program and still puts in countless volunteer hours to make it happen every year!! We were also pleased to have the support of several outfitters and organizations including the Little River Blueways, SC Department of Natural Resources, Palmetto Conservation Foundation, Palmetto Living History Association, Lake Thurmond Sail & Power Squadron, and Adventure Carolina.
