The Great Theater, still in use today, with a capacity of 24,000. St Paul preached here back in the day.
The harbor used to reach to the end of this road, which leads the the theater. It's been used by everyone from St. Paul, Mark Anthony and Cleopatra, to Elton John and Sting (who arrived by car since the harbor isn't there any longer).
St John preached here.

Who knew there would be a moose in Rhodes?
Rhodes Old Town is a medieval city, completely enclosed by 2.5 miles of massive walls.
Rhodes is considered the oldest continuously inhabited medieval city in Europe.

The Palace was restored by the Italians in 1939 as a summer palace for Mussolini.
The palace has beautiful mosaic floors dating from the 5th century AD.
