The Eastern facing bay on Vatersay. Don't let the serenity fool you. That night was to be the stormiest of the trip. I was sure I'd lose my tent and hardly got a winks sleep.

Cladh Hallan is an archaeological site on the island of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. It is significant as the only place in Great Britain where prehistoric mummies have been found. Excavations were carried out there between 1988 and 2002.

The shore near Clahd Hallan, one of my favourite rest spots and the place I camped on the last night of the trip. Shortley after this picture was taken, I was privileged enough to watch a group of bottlenose dolphins destroy what ever prey they were after. Working in groups they pounded and rounded up their unsuspecting victims. Amazing to watch.
