Halloween Hoe-Down 2008
The Halloween Hoe-Down is an annual community festival which celebrates the season of Halloween. Community businesses and organizations donate their time and candy to give away at Trick or Treating on Main. There are several contests including a Scarecrow Decorating, Pumpkin Carving, Pie Baking, Dog Costume, and a Corn Hole Tournament. Other Activities include a hayride, kids activities, stage entertainment, a live DJ, Craft Vendors, Fall Market, and Food Vendors. In 2008 there were at least 8,000 people walking on Main St. The day was gorgeous which contributed to the wonderful turnout!
