Leo the Lion Cub
I was very lucky to meet this little fellow
He was born in captivity of parents rescued a couple of years ago from someone who had them as pets
He's a handful now ~ when fully grown no-one will be able to handle him

Canoe to go shopping
Wide river...
...on the way...
...almost there
That is an iguana ~ I saw a lot but they moved away when I took my camera out
This is on the other side of the river by the ferry. It took me over an hour to walk there. You will see why
I fainally got there just in time to walk back so I wouldn't miss the ferry ~ 4 p.m. or you swim
The office and the police post. Super guys all of them.
Souvenir shop and a shelter. I sat there while it poured with rain. Of course, it is a rain forest

Hibiscus ~ it is imported from Malaysia but manuy locals think it is indigenous for it has been in Belize a long time

Not sure why I took this ~ it is the table where I had lunch, the bottle contains chilli sauce
