We took the MTN Loop Hwy today out of Darrington.
Campsite #12 at Clear Creek Campground looked like a winner. It looked to us like you should make reservations. All the campgrounds were full - and this was a Friday.

Mike said these were raspberries. He ate one. I (Pam) took a picture of it, just in case he dies, I will be able to tell officials what it was that he ate!

Rates at Bedal Campground. We liked this campground and would like to go back to camp. We would reserve sites 12 & 13.
I need to research this - it appears that the "Big Four" might refer to the four big mountains that surround this site.
I know this is a terrible picture, but we saw several of these "reservation" campgrounds. Don't know what they are. People were camped in them, but the gates were always closed.
This was a nice campground too - but no vacancy!
If we ever reserve a site, it will 6A and 6B - the river is right behind the two sites.
