Starting out - after a stop at Home Depot. All of this for one night of camping out. However, let me state that trailer contains the camping gear for two families.
Ready to go!
Seems like lots of other people had the same idea! Duh! it is the Fourth of July weekend.
Our neighbors at the campground were a bunch of horses!
The path to the river from the campground was slightly overgrown! We never made it - turned around and headed back. Only our son-in-law was brave enough to make the trek!
Our tent - Notice the power cord threaded into the tent on the left side of the door. It was used to pump up the air mattresses that went on the cots, and to recharge the batteries for the camera.
Grandbaby, Reece.

Is anybody home?

Oops! Always remember to stake down your tent!!!
Grandpa to the tent rescue!
The brave little camper tries again!
Much better!

Is this the face of a happy camper?
Baby with her own supply of bug spray! (really just the lid - we used doctor approved spray on the baby - all natural) The mosquitos were terrible!
The son-in-law starting breakfast!
Oh, the trials of camping!

There is a Wildlife Access Area just around the corner from the Yakima River RV Park. There were fishermen here and boaters / kayakers.

Now we are leaving the area and continuing our trip. We took the long way home so that we could do more exploring. We're done camping for this trip!
A three-room tent.
On the road again!
The next several pictures were taken at a place called "Tim's Pond" The people were having some pretty good luck fishing.
On the other side of this bridge looked like a pretty good place to camp.
Griz - our granddog. Grandma and Grandpa had to babysit him while the rest of his family went on with their weekend trip.
Rimrock Lake is visible when you come out the other side of this tunnel.

The people with the motorcycle had a dog that they put in a harness on the passengers chest. Gives new meaning to the phrase "Lucky Dog".
Looking back over the way we have come from the Clear Creek Falls Overlook.
One of the falls. There are two sets of amazing falls here to view.
