As received: damaged, not working and not very presentable
As returned: fully functioning.
After dismantling, cleaning and rinsing in ultrasonic tanks the carburettors were re-assembled after the following work had been completed: Tops polished, bodies bead/vapour blasted, bowls polished, steelwork linished polished and replated in BZP, captive steelwork hard lacquered. In this case, polished stainless steel cap head screws fitted.
An engineering approach to carburettor overhaul and restoration. No aggressive chemicals, just sound engineering practice, years of experience, a desire to do things properly and a tested service. JRS tested quality.
