Master Class
British championship swimmers Ian Hulme and Michael Jamieson attended the club to present a masterclass for butterfly and breast stroke. Members of the squads took part in the class learning new techniques and drills to enhance their swimming. The session was followed by a presentation about nutrition and motivation. Ian started his swimming career at Peterlee ASC and gained county, regional and national times. He has recently competed in the world championships in Rome and and continues to represent Peterlee club at galas around the country. His ultimate goal is to qualify for the 2012 Olympics.
