The Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® sent volunteers to four area organizations to work on a variety of service projects including home improvements, meal preparation, general clean-up, and more. GHAR volunteers also delivered needed items to eight different organizations. These items were donated by GHAR members during the Association’s Wish List Collection Drive.

The Wilkes Barre Association of REALTORS® hosted their 2nd Annual wine tasting event, “The Grape Escape.” Proceeds benefit the Catherine McAuley House, a temporary shelter for women and children who are in crisis which leaves them homeless or without substantial resources.
CENTURY 21 Jackson Real Estate sponsored a food drive for our local food bank in the Towanda area. We held it at the P & C Supermarket in Wysox on Saturday (10/24) and collected more than eight overflowing grocery carts and more than $100 in cash. The representative at the food bank said it was the largest single donation they have received.

The Schuylkill County Board of REALTORS® donated more than 100 pairs of shoes to Child Development Inc. as part of REALTORS® Reach Out Month. The group collected donations from REALTOR® and Affiliate members to purchase the shoes to be distributed to children in need in pre-K up to 4th grade throughout the county. The Board is also donating $250 in food gift cards to the Salvation Army food pantry.
