Main entrance to the cemetery through a large stone gate, with an eagle perched upon a globe. The gate was erected by the D.A.R.
Marker for the cemetery. States it operated from about 1750-1853. It lists notable politicians, historians, and veterans buried within the cemetery.
The cemetery is now a city park, and has beautiful paths and trees throughout.
