Social Service Fair, Chennai, TN
The Global Foundation for Civilisational Harmony [GFCH, India] through its Chennai Chapter
sponsored for the second time the “Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair 2009” at Chennai from 23rd to 28th December. Swamiji is one of the founder members of GFCH which was formed in January 2008 in the presence of leaders of many world religions. Swamiji also inaugurated the fair the first time it happened in February 2009.
100 Hindu spiritual organizations participated this time with a deep feeling of oneness and gratitude to the great seers who have preserved the rich Hindu culture over the years. An estimated 1.2 lac people visited the fair and learnt about the tremendous service being done to humanity in the fields of vedic tradition, spiritual literature, medical care, education, and other humanitarian services.
