This is the nice sign. There is a much meaner, threatening sign before you get into the area about touching the tabby. We had NO IDEA what they were talking about though when we saw the first sign. I'm like, I'm not touching some strange cat anyway!
This wall corner is all that is left of the house.
An edge of one of the walls where it was torn or burned off. you can see all of the shells in the concrete. The ground is still completely covered by shells.
Another angle of the grounds the house sat on. There was obviously a giant tree that grew in the middle...all the white on the ground is the shells.
This was all that was left of the kitchen. They think most of it was disassembled by Soldiers during the Civil War to make a base for some of their tents...You can see where it's moved-but I didn't get a pic...
