Spc. Kyle Jenner and Spc. Bradly VanDyke were promoted ot the rank of Sergeant together in a ceremony held on Camp Spann, Afghanistan in front of the mixed Croatian/US team by the senior officer Lt. Col. Rudolf Vucic of the Croatian Army. The two Soldiers are deployed with 10 other Soldiers from the Minnesota Army National Guard and are serving alongside their Croatian partners in Afghanistan as part of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) providing support to the Afghan National Army (ANA) to increase the overall capabilities of the Afghan Security Forces.
