Members of the Minnesota Army National Guard were the overall winner of the Army Guard Communities of Excellence award, May 4, at the Army Guard Readiness Center. Guard officials called the ACOE program "invaluable to the implementation of organization-wide improvement" of the Guard's Soldier-readiness, its units, organizations and installations.
Sen. Amy Klobuchar met with members of the Minnesota Army National Guard May 4 to congratulate them for winning the 2010 Army Communities of Excellence award in the Special Category, given to the best-performing Army National Guard in the country.
