Melrose - Student Presidential Election Voting 2008
Melrose Elementary is a magnet school whose program is designed to infuse all content areas and daily lessons with global studies and Gardener’s multiple intelligences. During the month of October students took part in a mock presidential election. With the help of the department of elections, we were able to give a realistic voting simulation with proper voting booths. The students were thus able to grasp the pride and responsibility that comes along with voting.
