Old graves!
These pics are from Père-Lachaise Cemetery, which is famous... Or at least it will be now that I took pictures of it...
Many of the tombs (monuments? (mausoleums? (graves?))) had these little praying booths on top of them with the family names above...
Fancy! They must be rich...
Jim Morrison's grave...
Much like The Doors, it was highly overrated...
Lots of graffiti on the surrounding graves...
Flowers!
Oscar Wilde's grave...
Those blobs all over are where people have kissed the grave... Kinda romantic, kinda gross...
The angel's penis was broken off by the cemetery director and used as a paperweight... At least that's what it said in our guide...
Irony!
While we were there, some people were writing their names on the grave... Why do jerks think people care where they've been?
Even Emma couldn't resist, she had to scrawl her name in M.A.C. lipstick...
Kiss the O!
The Importance of Being Engraved...
This looked so much like "Hautard" we just had to take a picture of it...
Outside the crematorium, many many monuments...
Arty!
This guy looked cool...
Proust's grave... I tried to summarize his works in 30 seconds but it was too difficult... (Nerdy reference there... Tell me where it's from in the comments field and win a prize!)
The All Seeing Eye...
Balzac... mant...
Inside one of the praying booth thingys...
Rows and rows of them!
The Invalids...
Cannons!

Opposite direction...
Picnic! Roquefort, Chevre, Brie with Herbs, Pancetta, Olives, Honey, Wine, Bread...
Emma studies her guide...
The Red Windmill...
M.A.C.!
Basilica of The Sacred Heart - It's on top of a big hill...
Way up there...
Lots of steps...
Dirty fountains...
Small French boys were taking their shoes of an walking around in it... It might have been part of a wine making process...
Beautiful!
That took some time!
Arches!
