Chinese New Year show at Hackney Community College

Hackney Community College's Chinese New Year celebrations came to a climax with a colourful show of Chinese performance on Thursday.
The show started with the lion dance, followed by a stunning and elegant Chinese folk dance, a martial arts display and some impressive aerobics dance. The show ended with some mystical Chinese magic. The performers were:
Kenny Ren, a multi-talented traditional performer from China, stunned the audience with Lion Dance, T'ai Qi martial arts and magic.
Jun Jing Wu, a graduate from the Beijing Dance Academy, trained in Chinese traditional classical and folk dance. She is now working as a dance teacher in the London Mandarin School, based at the College.
Yan Jie Jiang is a famous specialist teacher of aerobics dancing in China. As well as winning numerous awards for his own performances, he is also a respected state coach.
