At the beginning of the journey the weather was not perfect...
In a few moments it started sleeting.
Luckily a mountain hut was near.
After a couple of hours the weather turned nice. This is Lake Ruktajärvi.
A bautiful valley on the way towards Kevo canyon.

On the far right you can see Luomusjärvi where according to Sami folklore God began the creation of earth. A very beautiful place.

All of a sudden we could see a snow topped mountain on the Norvegian side of the border.

We had sunshine but it was raining cats and dogs at Muotkatunturit.
