The megaliths of Carnac. They said that this place has been inhabited continously longer than any other place in Europe.

The beach of Carnac.
This is the nice harbour of Quiberon at the tip of a sand peninsula. Presque-ile the French called it, which means nearly an island. I find that quite funny.
Harbour of Quiberon.
I don't think this will win the nature photograph of the year competition. The situation was funny anyway. The left bird was screaming for a while on the beach as we were having our lunch. The right bird got tired of the screaming and grabbed the other from the nose to make it silent. I think the screamer learned his/her lesson.
A huge bridge in Benodet.
The fishing port of St. Guenole. A really authentic place. Wind blowing around 25 m/s. It was pretty difficult to keep the camera steady.
Fishermen returning from the sea at St. Guenole.
Another finshing boat returning home at St. Guenole. We got there at just the right moment as the boats all returned from the sea. The boats were emptied hastily and the pier was full of locals trying to get their share of fresh fish.
St. Guenole. The black spots are not dust on the sensor they are seagulls.
Pointe du Raz. The wind was blowing between 25-30 m/s. It was extremely difficult to keep the camera steady. The wind even blew saltwater from the sea on the lens. I grabbed around 50 shots of this lighthouse. This is one of them.

Pointe du Raz.
Pointe Saint Mathieu. The lighthouse is built on the ruins of a monastery. This gives you a clue how fast the weather changes in Bretagne. This is shot just a couple of hours later than Pointe du Raz. The wind was still quite ripping however.

Some crasy people paddling at Louannec. The wind was still blowing at least 20 m/s.

The port of Cancale at low tide.
Cancale. The black you see on the mud are used to breed oysters.
The Bay of Mont Saint Michel at low tide. We watched the rising tide there. I had read that there water would come there like a gallopping horse but I haven't seen that lazy horse ever. Anyway it was an experience to watch the high tide of the equinoxe rise.
The Bay of Mont Saint Michel.
The Bay of Mont Saint Michel. There is a person to give you perpective. Looks like lunar landscape to me.
