The Boat...and our bed.
The Boat Chania to Athens....when we arrived in the Athens port at 5:30 am.
This is at about 6am or so, we are in the middle of Athens in a rail station...and discover this sign.
Agia Sophia light fixture
The boys....looking at Agia Sophia
Agia Sophia
A little nargile cafe.
The table at dinner, night two.
After two days in the rain...the boat to the European side.
Another cathedral, can't remember the name, outside of the center of town.
This was a mosiac. You can't tell by the face....
They also tiled the houses around that cathedral.
There were some beautifully arranged fruit and fish stands along the side streets nearby Taksim Square.
The "Tunel", an old trolley car running up and down the main street in the Beyoglu neighborhood.
I was impressed with the graffiti, it was everywhere and mostly good...
...just like the live music.
The day we left. Nice weather...
Seconds between Turkey...
and Greece.
