The Vallee Blanche. At the summer time it's possible to take the cabin from Aguille Du Midi(France) to the Helbronner(Italy). The cabin ropes are on the left side of photo.

We had to hike about 200m from the Aguille Du Midi before ski'ng Vallee Blanche.
Before hike...
A couple guys from Turku hiking to the Glacier. We met the guys on the cabin while going to the Aguille Du Midi.

Some cracks on the Glacier. The glacier moves some cent meters on a day, so new cracks appear almost every day.

Our coffee was made of snow! The other stuff on the coffee place were delivered by helicopter.
Turku guys and Jukka ski'ing down canyon from the coffee place. The coffee place is on top left, but can't be seen on photo. We came down from the middle canyon.
Some other people ski'ing down the canyon. The deepness of th canyon can't be seen on photo too well, but it was Crazy! Falling is not a choise. Anyhow the snow was guite good - not icy at all.
Entry of the Ice Cave.
French are cracy. At the end of the Vallee Blanche they have digged and ice cave for the tourists. Actually... because the glacier is moving they are digging a new gave while tourists are visiting on the other one. The "old" non used caves are on the left side. The currently used is on the middle and the new which will be used is on the right side of photo.
