3MAR11 Board Mtg @ Park Univ
KCAUSA conducted a board meeting March 3, 2011 at Park University, a corporate member of the chapter. A special presentation on the Park Warrior Center by the director, Stephen Terry, was the main focus. Paul Wagner, the 5th Region AUSA president, was also in attendance and provided short remarks on the meaning of being an AUSA corporate member. After the luncheon, Chapter President Diane Boeger presented certificates of appreciation to Bob Maggio, KCAUSA chief financial officer, and Mark H. Wiggins, KCAUSA executive vice president. She also presented a gift to Wagner in appreciation for his remarks during the meeting. The gift was a photo book from the World War I Museum at the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, Mo., signed by all the KCAUSA board members present. Several corporate members attended the meeting, including representatives from Aerotek, Inc.; Edward Jones; HDR Engineering, Inc.; HNTB; ICF International; Sprint; Superior Lexus; and The Triple-I Corporation.
