The daffodils we planted in the backyard have finally bloomed...spring has arrived! Now if we could just get the birds to stop eating the grass seed we might have a lawn soon.

On memorial drive, waiting for the runners...this morning we watched the Women's Olympic Marathon Trials...amazing!!!

the excitement begins...fourth and final lap....Magdalena Lewy Boulet is in the lead but since the previous lap, Deena Kastor had made her move and closed the more than two minute gap and was now only 43 seconds behind!
