New style steps installed. Remove them after you have fitted them so you can rivet the cornerskins on.
When you install them for good, pad them or your will find out how painful they can be when you walk into one of them.
Use a strong magnet to help position the nutplate in the corner. Put the nutplate in an easily accessed area of the skin and then slide it over to the corner. Then tilt the magnet a bit so that you can slide it over the dimpled holes. Then put a cleco in one hole and then install a screw in the nutplate to hold it tight to the holes and install the poprivets.
