This is my bathroom in my hostel in Rabat. I wasn't sure at first so I went up to the guy at the front desk asking for the toilet and he confirmed my suspicions... Lets just say I stuck to #1.
Delicious fruits that I later found came from a cactus. Street venders just have huge carts from them and are waiting there to peel them for you. They are actually very delicious, tasted a bit like strawberries to me.
Some spices at a stall
Turtles! I asked the two guys sitting next to these things if I could take a picture by pointing at my camera and they said yes. After I took it and started walking away they told me to come over and wanted around $10 because I took a picture! I pulled some change out of my pocket but they said it wasn't enough and I just walked away...
Now thats a lot of different kinds of olives...
A fairly early morning before the majority of the shops have opened in this almost "mall-like" area of the Medina.
Looking up towards the Kasbah, the older part of the city where the nobility used to live.
Gate leading in to the Kasbah
Water fountains inside the Kasbah
A nice door...
The two-tone walls and narrow roads of the Kasbah neighborhood
Beautiful door
A bit hard to see but basically fruit/yoghurt and some exotic drinks. I got one of the green ones (I regret now not getting one of the multilayer ones). It was avacado with some spices in it and it was absolutely delicious.
More fountains...
Guards leading into the ruins of a mosque that was never completed and the tomb of Muhammad V, a sultan of Morocco
Wall of the ruins
Courtyard within the ruins
Looking at the giant minaret that was to be a part of the mosque. The minaret was actually supposed to be higher but was never completed.
Inside the tomb of Muhammad V. Not many pictures came out well in here...
Beautiful ceiling of the tomb
