(for best viewing click on slideshow) These bathrooms are done in a three color Fiorentino plaster and sealed with a wax finish. It is a flat finish and is very water resistent. The colors are applied and blended at the same time. This finish and colors were chosen by the customer to compliment the exisiting stone work in the shower areas. With 25 ft ceiling and no room for ladders, we had to scaffold our way across the top. A little scary but the end result was worth it. Complemented by the rough hewned stone, the venetian plaster added an old world elegance to the entire entry way. We worked closely with the designer to achieve just the right amount of texture and color combinations. The walls work as a perfect backdrop for their Mediterranean furnishings. It's like having your own personal Italian restaurant in your home. We also covered the drywall fireplace with Venetian marble giving it an aged stone appearance. (for best viewing, click slideshow tab) The challenge for this project was to create a plaster finish on one wall in the master bedroom that reflected the honest naturalness of the owners personalities and the outdoor nature feeling of their furnishings. The solution was a matte finish Marmorino plaster that mimics natural stone. We chose a organic color that complimented their other bedroom walls and headboard. We added a dark brown accent marks using tinted wax as a finishing touch but no gloss, at the customer's strong request. The end result was a warm inviting comfortable feeling that blended all the other elements in the room together. I just bought my home & was remodeling it toward a Tuscan flair, but I had a red brick fireplace that did not fit in my décor ideas. I had some initial color preferences but Victor brought the color & style to life. Most importantly, Victor spent a great deal of time listening to what I wanted & assessing the style of the room. He never hurried me or acted impatient & timing promises were kept. After 3 trips to my home the fireplace was completed. Both Victor & I worked to achieve another very light mix to glaze over the top of the plaster the result was perfect. Absolutely perfect! He is an artist, craftsman & a pleasure to work with. I had looked for a way to improve it, but without success. Then I met San Diego Italian Plaster at a Del Mar Home show. They showed me their Italian plaster, but since we use our fireplace a lot during the winter, the plaster he used could not withstand heat. But they found another plaster that could and now we have a gorgeous fireplace and are very happy with the work they did." Slide Show for Carlos and Susan

This customer loves color and texture. We focused on key items in their home where Venetian plaster could make the maximum impression. A large inset wall was a natural for an accent wall in our favorite style plaster. Applying veneziano in the bathroom brought a colorful and practical finish to a small area. The final touch was to upgrade their drywall formed fireplaces with a two tone Old World finish. One fireplace was done to compliment the polished marble. The other was done to blend with colors in the diningroom. In all areas the plaster added a touch of elegance to an already warm and friendly atmosphere.
