Mount Toubkal, Morocco

This is a very popular course, and does not require any mountaineering experience, but a good level of trekking fitness and some easy scrambling experience is an advantage. A key feature of the trek is to explore the amazing city of Marrakesh, with its souks (markets) and the old city in the medina.

Mer de Glace

Chamonix Alpine Classics course

A collection of photos from Technical Ice & Classics courses in Chamonix. A recent itinerary for this course was an ascent of the Aiguille d'Entreves followed by a night in the Torino and an ascent of the Dent du Geant the next day. Wednesday saw several rock routes in the Aiguilles Rouges (Brevent sector) being ascended, then the Rebuffat route on the South Face of Aiguille du Midi on Thursday and a night in the Cosmiques mountain hut, and to wrap off the week, the Chere Couloir on Friday also taking in the summit of Mont Blanc du Tacul. Well done all; two 4000m peaks, six classic routes, and an amazing week.

Photos of the Tour du Mont Blanc from Contamines to Courmayeur, via Refuge du Croix du Bonhomme and Refugio Elizabetta Soldini, taking in the Col de Bonhomme, Col de Croix de Bonhomme, Col des Fours, Col de la Seigne and Col Chécroui. Then from Dolonne to Courmayeur, via the refuges of Bertoni, Bonatti or Elena to reach the Grand Col Ferret, then the descent to La Peule, Fouly, Praz-de-Fort, and Champex Lake, before the Bovine and Arpette choices to reach Trient, then the Col du Balme to Chamonix.
