Step 1: Find wire in wall and strip outer casings from ends with wire stripper. Do not strip off too much.
Step 2: Connect wires to volume control terminal - make sure each wire in in the correct location.
Step 3: Carefully install volume control into wall. Be careful not to detach wires from back of terminals or pinch wires in process.
Step 4: Put cover plate on and your done!
