Spring Garden Raffle

Raffle Tickets: $1 each, 6 for $5. Drawing date April 30, 2011, the date for the Spring Sidewalk Book and Flower Sale. (takes place on the sidewalk by Abington Free Library's front door.) Container includes: gift certificates, gardening tools, trellis with bird, watering container, books, seeds, etc.

Antiques Appraisal Fair

The Friends of the Abington Library and Samuel T. Freeman & Company announce an Antiques Appraisal Fair Sponsored by Carol K. Gerstley Dust off your heirlooms and join us! Sunday, October 25, 4-7 p.m. You may have up to 3 items appraised! All proceeds benefit the Abington Township Public Library. APPRAISAL CATEGORIES: include (but are not limited to) paintings; jewelry; books; prints & manuscripts; silver; ceramics; toys; American and European furniture & decorative arts; 20th century design. A detailed photograph can be used for large items. COST: $15.00 for the first item; one or two additional items @ $7.50 each REFRESHMENTS and RAFFLE: The $15.00 registration fee includes wine and cheese reception and one ticket for gift basket raffle.
