One fat boy all packed to go
Scared in Seattle - Day 1 and about to get the wheels in motion
Leaving Seattle - Don't pay the ferryman, just find a coffee shop instead
Just out of Port Angeles and, on only day two I was already thinking about jump starting any abandonded vehicle I saw
Camping at Lake Crescent at the end of day 2- The food wasn't up to much but the view sure made up for it
Sunrise over Lake Crescent on day 3 - worth waking at 6am for
Lake Crescent raft (day 3)
Trying not to fall off a log (day 3)
Hazy, lazy day at Lake Crescent (day 3)
Day 3 - Reflections
Day 3 - more reflections on a beautiful day

Ring of bright water
My camping companions
Beats camping? Whoever coined that one hadn't pitched out here.
It had been a cold night in the tent (start of day 4)
Another gratuitous sunrise pic at Lake Crescent (day 4)
Highway 101 near Sappho on day 4 where the road started to head south for the next 1,800 miles, and all i could think about was warmth
Near the end of day 4 and the first sight of the Pacific - an uninspiring pic but a hugely inspiring sight to me...
...I was, however, less keen on this sight, and there was an awful lot of them on the trip
Driftwood at Kalaloch beach (day 4)
Not so pacific ocean (day 4)
The view from my room at Kalaloch Lodge (day 4)
Quiet road lined with trees on Day 5 - an all-to-frequent view in Washington
So, anyone care to guess how this place got its name?
Motivation somewhat lacking when I saw this out the window at the start of day 6; a cold, wet, grey day in Aberdeen. Hmm, that sounds familiar to anyone?
50 odd miles into day 6 and it was at the exact moment I stopped to take this pic that my cycling legs arrived ...
... in fact for the next 20 miles i was going so fast it felt the bike was propelling itself up the road
A bridge very far - Looking to Oregon from the north end of the Astoria Megler Bridge - the end of the first state
