Medellín

Medellín - in the past the city of Pablo Escobar, used to be residence of the biggest world's drug cartel , today it is one of the richest and modern city in Colombia. 'Paisas' as they called Medellin's people, are nice and friendly, hard working as well. The president Alvaro Urive Velez is 'paisa'. We went there for: - Fiesta de las Flores (Flower's Day) - very important day- thousands of people who came to see flowers parade and millions in the front of tv - Desfil de los carros (Car's Parade) - Metro Cable - brand new cableway, from the top you can see all the city. Below is the poor part of Medellin - Pueblo Paisa - Explora Park - interactive museum, quite fun - city of the centre - the north part is not nice, poor and dirty, the south is much better, more parks, people and good restaurants - Plaza del Bolivar - Plaza del Botero - Fernando Botero, one of the famous art person in Colombia, popular for sculptures - big & fat - city's clubs :) many tourists, many coke

Bailamos compañeros !!! One of the best clubs in Ibagué - a lot of merenge, baillenato & regeton & Ron Viejo de Caldas -> the best ron I have ever drunk! (and the cheapest ;)

Berlin

1 day in the capital of Germany. Modern and vibrant city, great to work, visit and night out (i belive so, didn't have time to try it;) good metro connections, touristic signs which helps to find the destination, many tourists. For a lunch really tasty doner kebab (turkish of course!) accompaniened with berliner beer (nice & refreshing:) lot of expensive shops and people who show off. I really enjoyed the bugatti car - 16l engine! the said bionade is most popular that coca cola, but honestly don't know why - just taste like every orangeade. i couldn't resist buying 'wurst' from street sellers, it's more or less like in Vienna. didn't manage to go to the biggest European zoo, but at least have a photo with the symbol of the city - a BEAR !

Alicante

Te quiero Espana !!! Spain is beautiful!! Alicante is nice city, with many beaches around and big marina. Need to take more pictures, but now you can see: - alicante - city and beach - san juan - beach - el campello - la villajoyosa I'm still in Spain but this week is my last. I enjoy a lot. My spanish get better, and i meet a lot of interesting people around the world (including brasil or uzbekistan). night life is good, and starts really late for me (around 2 o'clock) which means next day you need a good sleep. I don't need to mention that food is awesome. Definitely will be back to Spain!

Castillo de Santa Barbara, Alicante

Castillo de Santa Barbara sits high above the city upon a cliff, on Benacantil Mountain, at 166m above the sea level. It comes from the end of IX century (when Spain was under muslims domination). The name was taken from the day of Santa Barbara (4 December 1248). The castle got back from muslims by Alfonso de Castilla, the future king Alfonso X el Sabio. To get at the top, you need to walk 20minutes, which isn't so easy when the sun is shining and there is 30'C! But the views are incredible!!! Amazing views on Costa Blanca, beach and marina in Alicante, on city as well. There are different plants, which makes a beautiful composision with stone walls and buildings. There is big hall - venue, which is used for various celebretions, weedings, company meetings, etc... I'll be fun to have a weeding there! :D Check the castle during the night, with all spotlights. Te gusta? :)

BMW Pit Lane Park Formula 1

One of the most impressive show we've ever been - it's worth go only to hear the engine and feel the smokin' tyres and fuel ! This Pit Lane Park was really crowded - you must stand in long queue, but not a big problems for fans of F1. Robert Kubica was on Friday (you can find his show on youtube.com), we were there on Sunday, and saw Jorg Muller's drive - his doughnuts were amazing !! you can see it on the movie file below. Enjoy !!!
