The Jesuit Gardens are a wonderful place to relax after a busy day. Also durning the winter, many students can be found having snowball fights and playing in the snow. The Jesuit Gardens offer a peaceful backyard atmosphere right on campus.
This is a look up at campus from the Skinner Mall. The Mall is a popular place for students to hang out between classes. St. John's Catholic Church and Creighton Hall are located on the left. The fountain, in the middle, symbolizes the Holy Spirit and is considered the center of campus. Also, to the right is Swanson Hall. Swanson is a 9-floor sophomore residence hall which houses the Freshman Honor's Program on the 9th floor.

Numerous benches can be found on Creighton University's campus. This particular bench is located outside of St. John's Catholic Church. St. John's was recently renovated in 2007 and offers many masses. The most popular student service is the Candlelight Mass on Sundays at 10:00 PM.
The Hixson-Lied Science Complex was completed in 2004. It is home to the science and professional health programs. The learning complex includes multi-purpose classrooms, lecture halls, computer labs, and high-tech teaching and research labs.
St. John's Catholic Church is the heart of Creighton University. St. John's is a campus church as well as an Omaha community parish. Numerous mass times are offered each weekend, including the popular Candlelight Mass on Sunday nights at 10:00 PM.
The Skinner Mall is a hot spot on campus for students to visit and relax at between classes. The majority of campus buildings are located right along the mall, making the campus small enough to get to classes quickly. The center of campus is the fountain in front of St. John's Catholic Church. The fountain symbolizes the Holy Spirit and is represented by the eternal flame.
The Creighton University Medical Center is the main teaching hospital for Creighton University's Health Professions students. It is within walking distance from campus and offers numerous volunteer and job opportunities for students.
Students enjoy relaxing and visiting outside on the Skinner Mall. Often times there is music, bake sales, and many other events happening on the Mall.

Creighton Hall, formly known as the Administration Building, is the oldest building on campus. It was originally constructed in 1877. In addition to classrooms it houses numerous campus deparments; College of Arts and Sciences, The Graduate School, Registrar, University Ministry, and the President' Office. Also, there are over 30 Jesuits that reside in Creighton Hall.
The Skinner Mall, more commonly known as the Mall, runs straight through the middle of campus. The main part of campus, west of 24th Street, was recently rebricked. East of 24th Street down to Morrison Soccer Stadium will gradually be redone by the fall of 2008.
St. John's Catholic Church is a focal point on Creighton's campus. Students and parishoners throughout the Omaha area create the worship community. The outside and inside of St. John's Church completed renovation in the summer of 2007.
Creighton Hall, formly known as The Administration Building, is the oldest building on campus. First built in 1877, the building houses numerous departments, classrooms, and many Jesuits reside here.
Another statue, this one of Jesus Christ, resides in the Jesuit Gardens. This area provides students a scenic route to campus as well as a quiet study area.
Creighton's 14 Division I athletic teams compete in the Missouri Valley Conference. In 2007 our Men's Basketball team defeated Southern Illinois in the conference championship held in St. Louis, Missouri. This victory gave them a birth to the NCAA tournament.
Billy Bluejay, Creighton University's mascot, can be seen at all home sporting events. He also appears on campus before various events and banquets.
Creighton students visit outside of the Reinert Alumni Memorial Library. The Reinert Library is the main undergraduate library on campus, but one of three on campus. There is also a library in the Law School and the Medical School.
St. John's Catholic Church is not only a campus church, but also an Omaha community parish. There are numerous mass times for students, including a 10:00 PM Candlelight Mass.
The Jesuit Gardens is a relaxing place to hang out in between classes. There are numerous benches and tables to study at or often times classes will take place outside on a nice day.
The Hixon-Lied Science Building is currently the newest academic building on campus. It was constructed in 2004. Hixon-Lied houses the Health Sciences programs as well as the Pyschology, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Atmospheric Science programs.
Skinner Mall is always swarmed with Creighton students. On nice days it also becomes the site of booths, barbeques, and inflatable games.
The main strip of campus where a majority of the campus buildings are located is called the Skinner Mall, or more commonly known as the Mall. Students stop and visit here throughout the day. Frequently students run into friends on the Mall in between classes.
The Woman's Basketball team is one of 11 Division 1 sports teams at Creighton. Many Creighton students and Omaha metro residents support the Bluejays.
The Reinert Alumni Library is one three libraries on campus and the main undergraduate library. There are three floors and numerous study areas throughout the building.
