Iceland - On The Move! part 1 (July 2009)
A new part of our Clean Up The Coastline -project.
Our goal is to locate all the big trash objects on the coastline of Iceland, estimate the weight and size and photograph them.Eventually we will have a comprehensive knowledge of the trash in order to arrange a big clean up operation with all the necessary equipment.
The first part was launched in 5th of July 2009, lasting two weeks until 17th of July. A wonderful group of four international volunteers and one work camp leader were assigned to the first part of the project. Camp participants were coming from Finland, Spain, Greece, Russia and Wales.
