Pray for the mission teams that will present day camps and family activities in the campgrounds. Thank God for the campers who come to the programs and ask Him to help them feel His power and presence.
In the summer of 2008, the Tutterow family will enter their third summer of missions in campgrounds here. They come at their own expense and will stay seven weeks. Thank God for Ricky and Cheri, who make relationships with campers and campground workers and show God's love to them. Pray for their children Jacob (not pictured), Jeffrey and Madison as they model to camper children ways to be a child of God. Pray for teen son Jacob to better understand God's purpose and plan for his life.
Owners and employees of Townsend businesses work long, hard hours serving others. Pray God will strengthen them with His presence. Pray they will allow CHARM to serve them.
Pray for the cleaning staff who work hard to keep the cabins in good order. Thank God for the owners of rental cabins who discount prices to mission teams. Pray that tourists who will stay in cabins will grow closer to God.
Pray for the pastors of local churches to have a greater desire to lead their congregations to missions. Pray that members will demonstrate their faith to those around them as they go about their daily lives.
Pray for families like this one who come on vacation to Townsend. Ask God to increase their awareness of The Creator as they enjoy the creation.
Seek God's power for Christian motorcyclists who reach out to bikers riding "The Tail of the Dragon," a dangerous road with 318 curves in 11 miles. Ask God to give the bikers a receptive heart as they experience followers of Christ and hear the gospel.
Ask God to help Joe and Linda lead with love and wisdom.
Thank God that we can trust Him with the eternal lives of people. Pray that the gospel seeds sown into the lives of people in Townsend will find fertile soil and grow until they become believers and followers of Christ.
